This Birth Center Administration Program is a one semester program consisting of 150 classroom hours.  The purpose of this program is to prepare the graduate midwife or administrative person to open and operate a birth center from the business/financial point of view.  The program will take the student through leasing and zoning, through the setup and necessary protocols, legal responsibilities, book keeping, and managed care negotiations.

Upon completion the student will receive a Certificate in Birth Center Administration.
